Visakha Eye Hospital was established in 1993 to provide quality eye care, at an affordable cost, using the latest equipment. The hospital was managed by Visakha Nethra Jyothi Pvt Ltd a company incorporated under the Companies Act 1956.
The Eye Hospital was started in 1993 as a small clinic with basic equipment by Dr P Vasudev and Dr C V Gopal Raju. It was later upgraded with the latest equipment. Both Doctors received their post-graduate training from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, (AIIMS) New Delhi, India's premier post graduation training institute.
